Call of Duty: Ghosts leak reveals DLC trial weekend, new characters and more - report

Via a Pastebin document it was alerted to, IGN reports that Call of Duty: Ghosts will host a free trial on the weekend of Friday 7th March, which will offer access to multiplayer modes Team Deathmatch and Domination on three maps - Strike Zone, Warhawk, and Prison Break - and the game's surprisingly addictive Extinction mode. Around the same time, the full digital game will be available for purchase at a discounted price, the document also alleges. There are also whispers that a Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC trial weekend will take place a few weeks later on March 21, and it'll include all four new maps, new weapons, and the first episode of Extinction: Nightfall.

The document also mentions a new micro DLC for COD: Ghosts referred to as the 'Legend Pack,' which features four new multiplayer characters: Makarov, Rorke, Hazmat, and Zakhaev, and allegedly launches on March 4.

Finally, the document also claims that those players who sign up for a COD: Ghosts Season Pass will receive the "Team Leader Digital Pack" and an item called "The Ripper," which is likely a new in-game weapon.

Whilst we're not inclined to believe everything an unverified source says, this one seems legit, as the posted document included links to images hosted on the official Xbox website. Proof enough to take these claims as read?
