Successfully flashed WD HDD but Xbox 360 doesn't recognize, any ideas?

Successfully flashed a wd5000lpvx series hard drive for my xbox 360. I used hddhackr but didn't format on hddhackr, usually wait and format via the xbox 360. When i put the new drive in my xbox it doesnt recognize the drive under storage. usually even if it needs formatted it will still be under storage and i can simply format via the xbox 360. Any thoughts or ideas? I was thinking there was firmware or something on thr hard drive from western digital that i need to change other than the bin files? Is this just a bad model to flash?
