I have recently got my j-r programmer and decided to try and install it on my pc before modding my xbox. I have been reading up about the problems with the red light on the programmer and I have followed every tutorial there is known to fix this red light issue. Everytime I try flash the firmware it gets about halfway and then X's start to show up instead of the . and then says write failed. Anyone got any advice into fixing this?
Also when I plugged in my j-r programmer for the first time it said something about installing device driver software named "USB Input Device" and I know that you are meant to manually install the drivers yourself
