ANSWERED Phat and Slim DVD Power cables the same?

So are the DVD Rom power cables the same between a phat and slim? I have a 3.5" HDD installed in a gutted DVD Rom chassis in my Falcon that will be moved over to my MW3 Corona v1, eliminating the stock DVD Rom, and wanted to know if I needed to rewire or create a new power cable.
