Preventing Xbox 360 Jasper/Kronos from RROD

Hey guys,

I was wondering what procedures are advised/beneficial to prevent a Jasper/Kronos(bought from eBay) from potentially receiving rrod in the future. I know that Jaspers are known for their long-term stability and very low odds of receiving hardware failures, but i always like to be safe anyways.

This a list of things that i've heard are good to prevent any xbox from getting rrod in the future:

1. Replacing Kronos 1st gen gpu heatsink with the 2nd gen copper gpu heatsink
2. Replacing aluminum cpu heatsink with copper cpu heatsink
3. Reapplying thermal paste both cpu/gpu
4. 12v fan mod
5. Ram thermalpads, heatsinks
6. Xclamp mods (now i've heard this can actually mess up the box if done slightly wrong)
a. I've heard of numerous types, like team hybrid's advanced xclamp mod.
b. Is it better to just buy some random bolts from ebay that will do the job. do the bolts have to be very particular (like a particular material, metal)
c. I wouldn't want to drill any holes into the xclamp location, so i'd prefer a way that doesn't require drilling
d. what are some good, easy kits for this

What are some things on this list that are worth doing on a working jasper.I bought my jasper on ebay from someone who repairs numerous xboxes and he told me that my xbox didn't have any previous rrod/gpu failures.

I know the saying "If it ain't broken, dont fix it" is referred to commonly on this forum, is it better to just not touch the xbox until it breaks?

thanks alot for the help

john
