Help updating a really old instalation

$

Hi all, i had a 250gb slim version like 3 years (or more) turn down, i remember some guy installed a RGH (i guess) chip

Today i turn on again and try to just play a new game, i must update from the disc to run the game so i start to learn how update it , i follow some pretty easy tutorials to update with dashlaunch 3.16 and xenbuild, my dash ver is 14699 and i get this error when i try to update with xebuild update -f 17489 trought updsvr

Code:

*****ERROR: console hv patches are not recent enough to support update mode! update console patches and reboot before trying again.

Ok, read somewhere that the command "
xebuild.exe client -p" should fix the problem, i get a new error:

Code:

connected to Trinity with updsvr version 2 (peek version 0)Updating patches in auto mode: 14699\bin\patches_g2Trinity.bin
***** ERROR: could not load 14699\bin\patches_g2Trinity.bin, aborting

So now, i0m totally lost, i don't know what to do :(

By other hand I tried to make nand dump, and seems there is not cpukey and that... the console has some backup in the hdd and works perfect with XeXMenu 1.1

Code:

    xeBuild v1.12.659---------------------------------------------------------------

Images of close-up soldering to motherboard (attach images to your post):

Detailed Description of the Problem: So I've installed a CR4 XL into a Corona v1 board set to RGH2+. However after the install, the CR4 board does not seem to glitch at all and only shows that it is getting power. The console on the other hand, powers up (no video though) so I presume there is nothing wrong with the motherboard. I've used one of the alt cpu_rst points instead of the recommended one since i don''t have access to good quality thermal paste at the moment. Also, if it helps, I've installed the CR4 after reading the NAND and writing the RGH2+ ECC that came with Jrunner. Please help. TIA

Was the console working before you started: Yes
Do you get a green debug light appear on the CR4 XL chip every 4-5 seconds: No

Fatal Error Intercepted on Black Ops II and Advanced Warfare Back-ups

Hello
I am having a bit of trouble and hoping someone can help. I used xeBuild to update my console to 17489, and now when I load my Black Ops II or Advanced Warfare back-ups it gives me a "Fatal Error Intercepted" message, then shuts down the console. This only happens when I attempt to play Local Multiplayer on either game. I have attempted some of the fixes I found online, like unloading dash launch, reverting to an older TU, changing settings in Launch.ini, moving launch.ini from the onboardMu to my HDD, turning off the freestyle plugin and FTP plugin but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a link to my launch.ini so if there are any out-of-whack settings I hope somebody is able to see them. I am using Aurora v0.5b. Also, every time I log in a profile it now tells me that it cannot connect to Xbox Live. It hasn't done that in a while (when I had the old dash) and it takes longer to log into a profile. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Thank You

SAMSUNG MS28 Samsung Dashboard update doesnt work

Hey guys, I'm new and I dont know if this is posted in the right section so please move it when it's wrong.
A few years ago i bought a Xbox 360, but i wasn't able to go online with it. So i never used it again. Last week i found the xbox and I wondered its possible to play downloaded games on it. I connected the samsung drive with the pc and opend jungleflasher, the drive is allready flashed but also spoofed as an liteon drive. And always when i try to update the xbox, I receive the error "3151-335A-1600-2203-C001-0001" I think it's because the drive is spoofed. But is there any way to update/play games on the xbox without buying a liteon drive? And when I burn an iso to a dvd and try to play it on the xbox,I also get an error.
Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Germany :)

JTAG Having console problems.

Hi, I just recently bought an jtag 2 days ago. Everything was going fine until the middle of today. I updated the dash by flashing the nand with Simple 360 Nand Flasher to dash 16747. Everything went smoothly after that and I went on playing games. Then I left my Xbox on when I went to go grab some lunch, I came back and my Xbox was frozen. I restarted it and got an E 79 Error, so I shut it off and restarted it again. This time I got the 3 led RROD, so again I shut it off. I turn it on again and it boots successfully so I disregard what just happened and continue playing a game. After about 5 minutes it froze again. I turn it back on and i get the first time startup menu where you choose language, locale, ect. I go through that and after a few more minutes it freezes. After I reboot it I get the first time startup menu again, and it continues to either freeze after successfully going through the first time startup and being on the dash for a few minutes, red ring, or E 79 Error after every restart. I have no idea what to do, I just got this thing and I'm somewhat new to the jtag scene. I do have some experience with building computers and such but I doubt that is going to help me much XD. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Jasper 16mb CR4/R-Jtag+ won't boot

Ive been at this one for ages now. Originally on RGH2 with a CR3 lite, it would boot but the times were up to 2 mins. Tried RGH1.2, no boot. At this point I tried R-Jtag with a CR4, no boot, Tried RGH2+, still no boot. I then tried R-jtag again, after hours of trying everything, I got 1 boot, WOW!

Ive tried the the dip setting, all the caps, but nothing really changed. Sometime it was going to look like a boot but didnt quite get there.

Soldering looks shoddy on the pics because Ive removed and refitted so many time, It also doesn't show the wire and diode that go to DB1F1 because I hadn't fitted it when I took the pics. I am now using the screened cable over the top of the fan shroud

CORONA Partially Dead corona after CR4 install

Console Type: Corona v1

Programmer Used: JRP v2.0

NAND Size: 16MB

Dashboard version: e.g 2.0.17489

CB Version: 13181

Image of the CR4 XL:

Detailed Description of the Problem: Hello again. So after successfully managing to repair the cpu_rst point and installing RGH to the Corona, I got myself a new problem. This time, the console won't start up at all. It makes a single beep whenever I switch on the mains, but pressing the power button does nothing at all. The CR4 chip is getting power though

Before this problem happened, however, the console successfully booted to Xell through which I flashed updflash.bin successfully and booted into Xbox dash. At that time, besides the fan, only the DVD drive and the wireless modules were connected. Once I put the console back together completely and tried to test agian, the console stopped booting permanently :(

I've read that this problem is usually caused by a short in one of the components. In this case, the only thing that comes to my mind are the NAND X cables which I had to solder directly to the NAND points. Before putting the console back together, i desoldered the cables with the motherboard in the metall shell. But I made sure that there were no stray debris or cross connections or accidental groundings at that point.

What could be causing this? Please Help!!!! TIA

SAMSUNG MS25 Use X360 USB to retrieve DVD Key?

Hi

I flashed a few 360s about 10 years ago and I've blew the dust off mine to have a play this week. After the update though I now have E66.

I've done some research and came across the X360 USB in this forum.

1. I have the Sammy 25 drive.
2. I have an old etreme firmware installed.
3. I believe I injected the original key into the drive during flashing.

My question is :

Can I use the x360 to obtain the key (I have no backup)
Do I then re flash with original firmware, update and then reflash with the latest modded firmware?

Sounds simple... I'm guessing it's not :-)

I have a 360 slim 4gb with a Corona board. I already modded and added a 320gb hard drive. If all I want to do is to be able to put and play games, offline, on the internal or external hard drive, what do I need to do. I am donating the Xbox to an afterschool program. I dont want to have to use discs, as they get scratched and end up being no good, especially in an afterschool program setting. I have 2 xbox's I am goint to do this with, so I would like the ability to connect 2 together with a switch and maybe have halo battles, etc, but they will never be online, or have live accounts, they will mostly be for offline, single player games.

What do I need to do. I am very comfortable around electronics, soldering, etc. I have the J-R programmer V-2, new, still in the box. I don't care about custom dashboards, etc, just the easiest way to select a game off of the hard drive and play it.

Thank's in advance.
