I have been out of the modding scene for a bit. Just placing order for some CR4 XL's and other necessary bits. I still have quite a few CR RevC's around.
I am having trouble understanding for older Slims. In this case a Trinity.
On current dashboard 2.0.17150.0! Can they still be glitched with a regular CR RevC? When I look at the chart on "Road Map for Noobs it appears that way but, again, I am not certain.

I RGH'ed my 4gb trinity today

And my setup is very unusual. Long story short, my flash: (using xexmenu on a disc) only shows a few files such as launch.xex and ihelper.xex and I am trying to paste in my XBL stealth files and my launch.ini but it won't let me paste, any ideas? Using a formatted 1tb usb for my games.

GENERAL Can you reuse 16D5S original PCB in another consoole?

Hi, I have a situation where a console with dead CPU was fixed by replacing with another CPU. I have nand and dvd drive from the old CPU and tried to encode nand with the new CPU key, console works, but I can't seem to get the drive working. I tried nofcrt option in JR, even tried with another PCB and the nand that matches, nothing.
I know I can get it working with TX PCB, but I don't require iXtreme for this console and I have several original drive PCBs just waiting to be used.

Detailed Description of the Problem: When connecting it to SD reader (tried several diffrent ones, Kingston SD adapter, Sandisk SD adapter, No Name SD adapter, Logik SD to USB, Kong Cardreader USB.
Was the console working before you started: Y and it still does boot with retail nand.
Do you get a green debug light appear on the CR4 XL chip every 4-5 seconds: Not installed
How long is the light on for each time (be aware that if you're trying to work on a faulty console, this is not a T-X product issue!!).

So the problem is, I cant read NAND, Ive installed the Corona 4GB V4 QSB reader.
Ive checked the soldering it´s all ok.
When hooked up to J-Runner I hit Read, then I choose Corona 4GB.
I see only Physical Drive1 and sometimes even PhysicalDrive2 when using diffrent SD to USB readers.
I cant get my Corona board to show up to read it.
I have bridged R2C7. R2C6 and R2C4 the R2C10 does already have a resistor.
Please help if anyone can.

Is anyone able to use cheap dvd's with Sony Optiarc CB Plus?

Hi, up until recently i have been using Verbatim 2.4x discs for my backups( with close to a 99% success rate) but it seems as if they have stopped selling them. I tried the Verbatim 8x (mkm-003) discs and after several good burns i start to get failures at either somewhere around 80-90% or at finalize. I figured i would try the gold Windata discs that i see others using and i can't get one game to burn past 50%. Has anyone been able to use the cheaper discs with the Sony Optiarc burner and if so what settings should i change in Imgburn? I went ahead and ordered another burner just in case mine is going bad but now i'm wondering if i should have ordered an ihas instead. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and have a great day..

Hi all, I am looking for some advice. I am very new to modding consoles. I have a phat 360 no hdmi Xenon dash v. 2.0.17150.0. Is this exploitable? If not, are there any chances that it might become exploitable in future? I have flashed my drive to run back up dvds, but I would like to have more customization and use homebrewed apps. Any help, advice, suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks. :)

This is my 1st no QSB install and I can't find any pictures of where the Kiosk point is on this Falcon motherboard, trying to run the rater to do some finer tuning. I found plenty of no qsb install pics, but no one points out where the kiosk is.

I had put in a ridiculous amount of time playing Skyrim...probably close to 200 hours. Well my XBOX decided to up and die on me, and it was a Jasper. I have now extracted the game save and want to play it on my RGH, *BUT* the game save tells me "The save game was created on a later version of Skyrim. Please download any updates."

Is there a way to tell which version I was running when I created the save game, so I know which update patch to get?

Corona v2 nand dump problem

TX Product(s) used: Corona 4GB W/R

Console Type
: Corona 4GB v2

Description of problem:

Having trouble reading the nand. Connected my nand reader and soldered on multiple times. Ive checked and re-checked my points many times to make sure I have a good connection. Once connected with J-runner on all I get is 'Failed to get Diskometry'. Ive used the nand reader just the other day to dump another corona; went fine. Ive tried different SD-cards and the USB card reader as well as four different laptops and PC's running different OS.

I removed everything the other day and tested it. It red dotted on me the first time but once I cleaned up the points and removed the solder it booted fine.

Its a real pain getting this thing to dump. Could someone help me out ? and if anyone has a link to the nand point readings so I can test them on my mulitmeter

JASPER R-JTAG+ BB Jasper Strange Problem

Hi Team-Xecuter,

Here is my first CR4 R-JTAG+ Jasper 512mb install. But it doesn't work. Before the CR4 I had a CoolRunner Rev C installed but it was to slow for me so I decided to upgrade to the CR4. I chose for the R-JTAG+ method. I installed the NAND-X wires and in JRunner I created an XeBuild image and selected: JTAG>RJTAG>Aud_Clamp?. Then I wrote the image to my Jasper and installed the CR4. Now here comes the problem. The first time I plugged in the PSU the Xbox turned on by itself without me pressing the power button. I directly unplugged the PSU and looked for solder splashes but I couldn't find any. So I plugged in the PSU and it didn't turn on by itself so I pressed the power button and the ring of light wouldn't turn on but before (when it turned on by itself) it did, so now with no ring of light the fans still spinned up and the debug led on the CR4 turned on and stayed on. A few seconds later you could hear the fans glitching rapidly and the debug LED also flashed rapidly.

I changed the STBY_CLK (point B on the CoolRunner) to the alternative point. I hoped it would help but it didn't do anything...

I hope this is enough information, I will be including a video in a few minutes.

Hi Team-Xecuter,

My BB Jasper keeps freezing when it boots dash. This post was supposed to help me but I couldn't get it to work. This is what I did:

1. Launched JRunner
2. Loaded NandDump1.bin (My original full dump)
3. I selected JTAG and ticked Aud_Clamp? & R-Jtag
4. I downloaded the Jasper magic SMC files for R-JTAG+
5. I have put the smc_jasper_norst.bin here C:\Users\Calvin\Desktop\#JTAG\General\JRunner\J-Runner v3 (5) Core Pack\xeBuild\data
6. I deleted the SMC.bin that was here C:\Users\Calvin\Desktop\#JTAG\General\JRunner\J-Runner v3 (5) Core Pack\xeBuild\data
7. I renamed smc_jasper_norst.bin to SMC.bin
8. I pressed Create XeBuild image
9. JRunner gives me an error
10. Here is the log

E79 (1033) on Xenon
I was using the diode method and everything was working just fine. Then when I moved it to another room, a E79 came up. Tried with and without Hard Drive, even with a different Hard Drive, Checked points J2D2.1 & J2D2.2 and both showed the same on the Multimeter (Shows 1.7K on both, but could be a little off, as its an old Multimeter. At least its showing theres a resistance.) Changed to Transistor Method and still the same error. (Going to keep it Transistor method since its suppose to be more reliable). Changed to Stock nand and it boots just fine. Recreated a new Jtagged Nand and got E79 again. Any Idea? Thanks! (Will clean up/shorten wires & add Heat Shrink to the J1F1 Points when fixed. Didn't had Heat Shrink so you could see the solder making contact. This is the 7th console I have Jtagged)

Corona V4 Homemade Nand Reader

Hi,

Before the TX Nand R/W kit was released, I used a homemade NAND reader to do dumps and I have not needed to use it since then. My question is can I still use the same NAND Reader as I remember there was a maximum dashboard limit, I think it was 14719. The dash of the xbox I have now is 16547. Thanks.
