Dang thing was just working last night. Stopped working today. System started to freeze after a few minutes of dash time, whether I was in Retail dash, FSD, or Xexmenu. This is probably a GPU thing, but I thought it was strange that the DBG light stopped blinking.
The Zephyr stock was 14699, RGH'd last week and updated to 16203. Was fine until today, turned it on a few times, then after it never glitched (usually within 1-2 cycles), I looked inside and the DBG light wasnt flashing.
So I took apart the xbox, checked all wiring and soldering, nothing had changed or moved. Disconnected HDD and DVD, still no DBG light. Tried booting into both RGH NAND and Xell, no DBG light. Reflashed CR Rev B to Zephyr timing files, just in case it lost timing files. Still no DBG light. Flashed ECC file, tried booting with eject button and the DBG light comes on, stays on and does a quick flash, then back on steady. It acted basically the opposite of what the light should do. Unsoldered red 3.3v wire from coolrunner and flashed stock 14699 ROM, got an immediate 0102 RROD. Flashed back the RGH NAND, and no more DBG at all.
Dont really have any JR logs, it was all flashing files and all logs reported back successfully for all flashes.
TX Product(s) used: Coolrunner Rev B, wire install
Console Type: Zephry
NAND size: 16MB
Dashboard version: Stock 14699, RGH 16203
CB version: 4578
Description of problem: see above...
Was the console working before you started: Yesterday was fine, today not so much.
Any ideas would be great. I'm guessing the GPU needs a punch in the face, just dont understand why the DBG light isnt showing correctly. I verified all solder joints with a multimeter to adjacent points on the mobo and at the Coolrunner. No bridges, no lifts, good connections.
Thanks.
