Hi all, So heres the issue, i only have the Coolrunner Rev C (Still have 10 sitting doing nothing) so chose to have a bash with this as have read around that its poss to get CPU Key mayber after 5 min of boot etc using Autogg for Creating the ECC. Also what i read but need someone here to clarify was to remove the CLK Wire in order to glitch? Its was a french site translated so im sorry if all wrong here but merely looking for advice on getting it to glitch or only other option is the R-JTAG. Thanks

GENERAL LTU2PCB on 0500 Noise/Play Issues

$

I've created and written the FW to the PCB 2 times and both result in the same noise. It sounds like the laser is not moving properly on the rails. It makes terrible clicking noises when trying to read a disc and will display mixed media half the time. If I put the original PCB back into the drive, the drive operates normally with no noise issues and no read issues with retail discs. I'm not sure where the issue lies as the original PCB works fine. Thanks in advance.

JR-Programmer Help!

$

I just recieved my JR-Programmer in the mail today. I ordered it because my nand-x fried. So, I soldered my nand wires in maybe 5 times. The exposed wire on each individual wire is about half an inch. When I solder them in, the wire goes into the point until it can't any more. I keep getting: Flash config 0x000000 can not continue. Or version 00 wrong version. So, I assumed it was my JRP. I go to update/reflash the firmware. Whenever it is writing, it stops and starts creating "xxxxx". Then it says write failed. I have the drivers installed. Once and if we rule out that it is my JRP, I will post pictures of my soldering. I also do not have a multimeter to get readings. Any help?

I need two wired controller boards for an arcade cabinet project. Don't need the shells just the pcb and cables. They don't even need to be microsoft. postage would be to France.

Wife will kill me if I spend too much so thought I'd ask you lot, incase you have any parts I can pick up cheaper than here.

old xbox 360 hacked - now doesn't play games?

Hi, I have a xbox 360 that was flashed a few years ago. i have a lite-on drive - i think flashed with 1.60 update. It has played copied games without a problem up until 6 months ago. I don't play it very often. Anyway, wanted to play game and put activation disc in and then the game and now it doesn't work. i am on 2.0.15574 dash board. what's up ?

ANSWERED Included DVD Power Cable lost. Can the one from the 360 be used?

Hi guys! New here, hope I got all the posting rules right...

Anyway, quick question: I have a spare Lite-On 9504 (DG-16D4S) drive I use for my game-backing up needs, so I don't have to take apart my 360 every time I want to backup a new game.
I used to connect the drive to my PC with a CK3 Lite. (Don't have any other connectivity option atm)

Now, I seem to have somehow lost the power cable for the DVD-Drive.
My question being, can I use the original cable that's found IN a 360 to connect the drive to my CK3 Lite and in turn power it up through my PC without any modifications to it?
Asking because I have some spare parts from a RROD 360 laying around and that little cable is part of them, but I don't want to fry my drive OR my PC by connecting it wrong.

I also live in a small country where there're no xecuter products available. Got my CK3 Lite on a trip to Russia. So please no suggestions to man-up and get the USB PRO or the ck3i.

Thanks in advance for any support guys!
Cheers!

Hello,
I have my Jasper fitted with a r-jtag and all seems installed properly green light on r-jtag blinks every 5 Sec or so. I have included the logs and screen shot of rater.
I have tried many different dip settings and voltage settings.
Do my rater logs look ok?
Both of the logs are with different setting.

I have had this system for a while now...... every thing is all good, but freestyle dash temperature reports that my
CPU: around 60 degrees C
GPU: between 69 and 75 degrees C
MEM: 72.8 to 75 degrees C
Case: 47.2 Degrees C

Now this is an rjtag console, and every thing appears fine while playing it, but i was curious if these temperatures are safe for long term playing, or should i do the xclamp fix, and replace the thermal compound, reflowing, and reballing are outside the scope of what i do, considering i dont have the proper tools for it.

This kprobe graph speaks for itself

I've tried with practically every sensible combination of settings on a fresh install of windows XP with different sata cables and ports, but the result is always the same. I'm using singapore verbs from three different spindles, supplied by two completely unrelated sources.

imgurn fails to verify the second layer because the error correction is inadequate. Needless to say, these discs don't work on the 360.

So far, all I've managed to produce is two dozen or so coasters. Any advice?

Dang thing was just working last night. Stopped working today. System started to freeze after a few minutes of dash time, whether I was in Retail dash, FSD, or Xexmenu. This is probably a GPU thing, but I thought it was strange that the DBG light stopped blinking.

The Zephyr stock was 14699, RGH'd last week and updated to 16203. Was fine until today, turned it on a few times, then after it never glitched (usually within 1-2 cycles), I looked inside and the DBG light wasnt flashing.

So I took apart the xbox, checked all wiring and soldering, nothing had changed or moved. Disconnected HDD and DVD, still no DBG light. Tried booting into both RGH NAND and Xell, no DBG light. Reflashed CR Rev B to Zephyr timing files, just in case it lost timing files. Still no DBG light. Flashed ECC file, tried booting with eject button and the DBG light comes on, stays on and does a quick flash, then back on steady. It acted basically the opposite of what the light should do. Unsoldered red 3.3v wire from coolrunner and flashed stock 14699 ROM, got an immediate 0102 RROD. Flashed back the RGH NAND, and no more DBG at all.

Dont really have any JR logs, it was all flashing files and all logs reported back successfully for all flashes.

TX Product(s) used: Coolrunner Rev B, wire install
Console Type: Zephry
NAND size: 16MB
Dashboard version: Stock 14699, RGH 16203
CB version: 4578

Description of problem: see above...

Was the console working before you started: Yesterday was fine, today not so much.

Any ideas would be great. I'm guessing the GPU needs a punch in the face, just dont understand why the DBG light isnt showing correctly. I verified all solder joints with a multimeter to adjacent points on the mobo and at the Coolrunner. No bridges, no lifts, good connections.

Thanks.

Mod direction/assistance

Hello,
I appoligize up front if I'm posting this in the wrong location. I searched and looked through the threads but nothing really hit on the info I'm needing. If this needs redirecting, please point me in the right direction.

I need some direction or advice dependent on how you look at it.
What I need to do is JTAG/Glitch my 360 slim and some follow on things I want to do after that call for me to have FreestyleDash installed on my system. I may be able to use a different dashboard. But first things first, JTAG/Glitch my 360.

I have considered installing the DemoN & CR3 as a set. But I'm not 100% positive that will get me where I need to be. Or if there is some additional hardware I need to install. I know I also want the ability to boot in two different dashes or dual boot so I can still go on XBL for needed updates and DLC.

As I mentioned.. If this needs to be redirected to another forum please point it out and I'll be happy to go there.

Thanks..
